Persona 3 Reload released, and it’s already the biggest ATLUS launch on Steam

SEGA has just released Persona 3 Reload on PC and it appears that in just a matter of hours, this game became the biggest ATLUS launch on Steam.

In just a few hours, Persona 3 Reload had a peak of 42K concurrent players. That’s the highest number of players that have simultaneously played an ALTUS game. So, this remake of Persona 3 is off to a great start.

Persona 3 Reload is a cool remake of the old RPG from 2016. The developers have jazzed it up for today with better graphics and gameplay. It, more or less, looks identical to Persona 5 Royal. So, you kind of know what you can expect from it visually.

This is also the second game powered by Denuvo that sells well. A few days ago, SEGA also released Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. This new Yakuza/Like a Dragon game also uses the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. And as we’ve reported, it was the biggest Ryu Ga Gotoku launch on Steam. So, apparently, a lot of PC gamers don’t really care about the DRM that a game uses (provided it’s a good game).

Persona 3 Reload currently has Overwhelmingly Positive Reviews on Steam. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth also has Very Positive Reviews on Steam.

Persona 3 Reload does not seem to require a high-end PC. For getting 60fps at 1080p/High Settings, SEGA recommends using an Intel Core i7-4790, AMD Ryzen 5 1400 with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 or AMD Radeon R9 290X. In theory, if you can already run Persona 5 Royal, you’ll be also able enjoy Persona 3 Reload.

We’ll most likely won’t have a PC Performance Analysis for this game. As said, it appears to run smoothly on a wide range of PCs. However, if we get reports about any performance issues, we might take a look at it.

Stay tuned for more!
