Alan Wake 2 Patch 1.16 Released & Fully Detailed

Remedy has just released Title Update 1.16 for Alan Wake 2, and shared its full patch notes. This is a small update that includes a handful of important fixes. So, let’s take a look at them.

Patch 1.16 will fix the missing Lighthouse keys after opening the last Cult Stash in Cauldron Lake. It will also fix cases where players couldn’t exit interactable notes and containers (e.g. Nursery Rhymes or the Shotgun Puzzle in the Covenience Store). Plus, Saga’s crossbow will now stay in the Shoebox if put in there.

And that is that. Don’t expect any performance or optimization improvements. To be honest, I don’t expect any major performance improvements with the game’s upcoming updates. It’s been three and a half months since the game’s release. During that period, Remedy already released patches to improve performance. So, right now, the team will be, most likely, focusing on resolving bugs and blockers.
