Starfield Title Update Released, Full Patch Notes

Bethesda has just released Title Update, and it has shared its full patch notes. Basically, this update is the exact same as the beta patch that came out on Steam on January 18th. So, if you’ve been using it, you can safely skip it.

Patch addresses rare cases where small animation pops could be seen in third-person. It also fixes player character’s eyes remaining closed instead of blinking in third-person view.

PC gamers can also expect a lot of graphical improvements. For instance, this update improves reflections on water. It also improves shadows, textures and the lighting at 73 locations.

And that’s not all. Bethesda has fixed a lot of crashes. Plus, it fixed various FSR2 and DLSS artifacts. And for those who don’t want to use any upscaling tech, the team resolved various geometry, texture, and ghosting issues.

Naturally, you can also expect several fixes for Quests. There are also some fixes for Powers and Outposts.

Sadly, this patch does not add support for AMD FSR 3.0. So, right now, only owners of the RTX40 series GPUs can enable and use Frame Generation. That is of course unless you use a mod that replaces DLSS 3 with FSR 3.0.

From what I could see, Bethesda has not addressed yet the 30fps HUD space stuttery issues that are present in the game. I don’t know why the team hasn’t resolved this yet. Perhaps they are happy with the choppy movement? I know, it doesn’t make sense. Anyway, there is a mod that fixes it, and you can find it in our “Best Starfield Mods” article.

Like always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch its client. Below you can also find its full patch notes.
