This engine is one of the most optimized engines available to the market and since the SDK has been released, modders have been ‘playing’ with it. Cyanide released six new screenshots for Game of Thrones, the RPG for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC that is based on the epic series by George R.R. Martin, which was recently adapted into a TV series by HBO. Developed on Unreal Engine 3 and written under the supervision of George R.R. Martin, Game of Thrones promises to allow fans of the series, and more generally adepts of role-playing games, to live an exceptional adventure in one of the most finely-worked universe from the medieval fantasy literature. XCOM fans, here is something interesting for you. The first screenshots of Firaxis upcoming XCOM remake have just been revealed and you can view them bellow. In addition, GameInformer has released some new information about the game and according to them, the game won’t be dumbed down. Furthermore, XCOM: Enemy Uknown can be considered as a re-imagining of XCOM instead of a remake. The game looks pretty good, even in its early stage, and we can’t wait to get more details about it. BeerDeer Games officially announced its first game, Nyrthos, that will be an action RPG for web browsers, Anroid and iOS. Nyrthos is built on an in-house engine, in 2D, seen from an isometric view and it’s closed beta is scheduled to Q1 of 2012. Oh, and did we mention that Nyrthos looks really cool and has a Diablo II feel to it? Although we don’t know if it will be as good as Blizzard’s offer, we seriously prefer this game’s art style over Diablo III’s cartoonish look.
