Bethesda announced today – via its Vice President, Pete Hines – that Wolfenstein: The New Order will be delayed to 2014. According to Hines, Bethesda felt that the game deserved ‘some additional time for polish’ and that’s the reason behind this delay. Wolfenstein: The New Order was originally planned for a Q4 2013 release on PC, X360 and PS3. A release for next-gen platforms (Xbox One and PS4) was also planned for 2014. MachineGames confirmed to Gamespot that its upcoming Wolfenstein game won’t feature any multiplayer mode at all. Oh yeah, Wolfenstein: The New Order will be a single player game only, something that was a big surprise for everyone. After all, most of us didn’t think that Bethesda would be willing to publish a new Wolfenstein title that does not feature MP, especially when this title is coming from a relatively unknown studio.
