I know exactly what video you’re talking about. That guy was absolutely cringe-inducing, but his critique of RDR2’s gameplay was fairly accurate. You also raise a good point about the emptiness. That emptiness is probably what allowed the game to run reasonably well on consoles.

this this what he said and he’s right, when it comes to graphics, art, animations and even writing these guys know what’s they’re doing, i think any sane person could realize how much Rockstar’s game design’s completely outdated, even more outdated than Ubisoft’s game design which is insane, but casual gamers are so easy to convince and are mostly blinded by little details that are only here to make Youtube compilations and to distract you from the shallow and inconsistent mechanics

red dead 2 is graphically impressive but its empty and boring also woke nakey jakey is correct on how outdate rockstar’s gameplay is.
