Phantasy Star Online 2 is a sequel to SEGA’s Phantasy Star Online, which was an online co-op action rpg that was released for the Dreamcast, Gamecube, Xbox and PC. SEGA announced today that Spiral Knights, a free-to-play adventure with fast-paced, retro-inspired action, has grown to one million player accounts worldwide. Spiral Knights joined the Steam distribution service in early June after the official launch in April of this year. To celebrate this milestone, SEGA and Three Rings have also announced a new batch of content being added today, available for free to the many, many Spiral Knights players around the globe. During his latest interview with the Official PlayStation Magazine, Randy Pitchford admitted that both Gearbox and SEGA should have just shut the hell up about Aliens: Colonial Marines. Randy has also admitted that it was a grave mistake to announce the game so early. That announcement was basically a result of Gearbox’s excitement, as they hadn’t even written the first line of code for it back then.
