You drop a View Marker Eye (your terms) by clicking and then you remove it by HOLDING down the same button you click to drop it.

The icons explaining this aren’t very clear but if you look they are different-ish.

Am I the only one here who hates magic? I never saw the point of it.
I like games which are realistic, down-to-earth, with very very “low tech”.
I think a game with “normal” pirates would have been soooo much better.
Something like Desperados with pirates…
What did we need magic and monsters for?
I guess I’m too old for this s***. lol

Still, I love stealth games so I’ll give it a chance.
I’m a bit concerned by the easy difficulty mentioned by another comment.

It’s a game taking place in the Caribbean Sea, the main protagonist is a Jamaican pirate, based on 18th century piracy in the Caribbean.

Of course she’s black. What did you expect, a blue smurf?

And then you guys cry foul when people are starting to block your whiny accounts.

The main issues as reported so far by players that played this /and/ previous titles (I only played previous games, won’t be touching it for now – maybe later; having peeked quite a few streams they sadly confirm things):

– the difficulty took a MASSIVE nosedive, compared to the predecessors; kind of not surprising, as the maps were designed to be doable by any combination of characters from any side
– on top of the above, stupidly overpowered abilities
– ESG sprinkled kindergarten level bloodless family friendly yarrrr CRINGE; they could have choose and done much better; this is no monkey island 1 or 2
– meaningless quasi open (???) world approach overall

This game is a regression, not an improvement. Might be an improvement for sunday gaming tourists finding everything too difficult. So yea – most of what you listed as PROS I would put into CONS.

Thanks for the review! Thoroughly enjoyed their previous games. Just wish they made a game with less cartoony graphics, especially it would be good for a Desperados title.

I played the game, it’s a very good game.

It doesn’t have the production value of a stealth game like a Plague’s Tale, but it is also priced accordingly.

Accompanied by a fun pirate story and an enthralling world. The characters are full of charisma and the voice acting is excellent.

I would recommend it, but try the demo first.
