No, Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0 is not the “greatest comeback”

A few days ago, CD Projekt RED released Update 2.0 for Cyberpunk 2077 and to the surprise of no one, the media immediately started overhyping it. A lot of the media calls it “one of the greatest comebacks” and I’m left puzzled. How on Earth is this a comeback? Cyberpunk 2077 Title Update 1.63 released, full patch notes

CD Projekt RED has just released Title Update 1.63 for Cyberpunk 2077, and shared its complete changelog. This patch resolves the DLSS 3 Frame Generation issue we reported in April 2023. As such, owners of the RTX 40 series GPUs will finally be able to enable and enjoy the game’s Path Tracing effects on AMD’s CPUs.
